Camp Enchanted Staff

We have a wide variety of staff members at camp, each specialists in their own field and all here to make your Childs experience special. 

Working at Camp Enchanted this summer is the most rewarding and fun summer job. We have very high standards for our staff members and only employ the absolute best.

Our Team

Camp Directors

Camp Directors are available to speak to throughout the entire week at camp. They are running the camp, overseeing all activities and ensuring everyone is having a blast and most of all it is safe. 

 

You will speak to a Camp Director If you need to send any messages to your child, and likewise the Camp Directors will be the ones to liaise directly with you in the instance of any accidents/injuries/ homesickness etc.

Camp Coaches

Our Camp Coaches are specialists in their fields. They will be getting to know your child very well and will be there to encourage each and every individual to achieve their potential, step out their comfort zones and work towards the Grand Showcase.

 

Whether it is Gymnastics, Cheerleading or dance, all of our Camp Coaches are fully qualified to high standards. They all hold enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding certificates.

In 2023 Kelly was Head of Gymnastics who holds a UKCC Level 5 High Performance Coach qualification.

Camp Counsellors

These are the heart and soul of the camp. 

 

Every Camper will be allocated a Bunk. Each Bunk will be in a Dorm. Each Dorm will be allocated a Camp Counsellor. 

 

Counsellors will be sleeping on the Dorms with the campers in their own bedroom. All Campers will be shown where the Counsellor’s bedroom is should they need any reassurance throughout the night time.

 

Counsellors will be the first face your child sees in the morning, as they’ll be their own personal alarm clocks getting them up in time for breakfast, and the last faces they see at night, ensuring lights out after their winding down time so they get enough rest for the following day. 

 

Counsellors will be the Pastoral care for your child, they will ensure they are taking regular showers, brushing their teeth, keeping their bunks clean, helping to create friendships, keeping any camper disputes at bay, the list goes on. 

 

Counsellors will be checking in with campers throughout the day ensuring they are happy in their activities and they will be looking out for any signs of homesickness to offer reassurance and comfort where needed.

Dance Teachers

Our dance teachers are specialists and absolutely love to dance. We will deliver dance classes right from hip hop all the way to contemporary. Our dance teachers will be getting your child moving in ways in which they didn't know they could, learning new techniques and styles each day.

 

Our dance teachers are experienced in creating beautiful individual and group pieces which will give dancers a wonderful opportunity to perform and celebrate the Grand Showcase at the end of the week

Camp Matron

Our Camp Matron is Jo. She will be on site 24/7 and will be able to administer any medications your child needs.

Jo is a qualified midwife, and has practised for 12 years. She is now specialising as a Safeguarding Midwife. Within this time at her job she has first hand experienced and helped families through both amazing and difficult times, and she will be part of our safeguarding management team.

As a mummy of 2 and being a cheer mum, she fully understands what our athletes go through.

First Aiders

First Aiders will be on site 24 hours a day. There will be round the clock access for your child to the medical room and first aid care.

Special Guest Workshops
 

Throughout camp there will be a number of special guest workshops available to all campers. These are included in the price and something not to be missed.

More Special Guests will be announced in the coming months.

Job Application

Our recruitment window falls between January and March for the following Summer. Please feel free to apply if you are a keen:

We do not see any of our staff members as numbers. We carefully select and recruit only the best individuals to become part of our family.

  • Be caring

  • Be passionate about children

  • Have previous experience in working with children and/or teens

  • Have a love for what you do

  • Be qualified or looking to get qualified before Summer 2023 if applying for a coaching/teacher role

  • Be Pro-Active

  • Be able to carry out instructions and procedures

  • Be authorised to work in the UK

  • Have a clear Police Background Check

  • Be able to work as part of a team

Staff Zone

Before you apply it is essential the you have thoroughly read through our website and understand our philosophy. We will ask you to demonstrate how and why you feel you would be a great candidate for the job.

  • If your application is successful we will arrange an online 1:1 interview

  • Should we have numerous applicants we will organise an in person group interview
